I am sure you’ve all heard the story about this guy who accepted luxury trips on a friend’s private jet as well as accommodation in exclusive places around the globe while serving in public office.

No, I am not referring to the one you all thought about.

The guy in question is US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a Republican and the close friend who cherished him with many presents including an antique Bible, as well as the trips and accommodation mentioned before, is Harlan Crow, a big donor to the Republican party.

The story so far is pretty boring and could happen anywhere.

The interesting bit however is Bohemian Grove, an all-male club for the rich and powerful, which was apparently visited by the judge and his friend.

You can find lots of information online about this institution, the main bit of which is that people there, are supposedly not allowed to talk about business.

Fair enough, you would think. Is there anything more interesting that makes it worth going to this club?

To be honest, the most interesting activity that I managed to discover, is that visitors there are allowed open-air urination.
